If either the L side clip (for left eye) or the R side clip (for right eye) is in the bin, select a file used in pair to make a single stereoscopic clip.
1) Select and right-click the clip to set as stereoscopic in the bin, and click [Set as Stereoscopic].
The [Stereoscopic setting] dialog box appears.
The following files are automatically searched: files which are placed in the same folder as the clip selected in step 1) , have the same extension, and are allowed to be stereoscopic. The search result is displayed in [Select pair files] as a list.
If a clip that is transferred to a project folder, the folder in which the clip is saved before transfer will be searched.
2) Select a file from the [Select pair files] list.
Select a file to be used in pair based on the information such as [Similarity].
3) Set each item.

Displays the information for the searched files. If files to be used in pair do not exist, click [Browse folder] to change the search folder. Click in [Sync] to select the position to synchronize the L side and the R side clips. The setting will be reflected in the [Preview] display. Every click switches the sorting order to be ascending or descending. |

Displays the L side clip at the left, and the R side clip at the right. Move the slider or enter the timecode in [Cur] to view video. Click [Monitor preview] to view the stereoscopic video of the current position in the preview window. Click to switch the L side and the R side videos. |
4) Click [OK].
After setting as a stereoscopic clip, the clip markers which the L side and the R side clips contain are merged.
The length of the clip will be determined by the area with the frames on both the L side and the R side clips, after synchronizing the L side and the R side clips.
The capture margin will be set to the longer one of either the L side or the R side capture margin, after synchronizing the L side and the R side clips.
The clip length and information other than the capture margin of the L side clip will be carried over.
The In and Out points information of the L side and the R side clips will be deleted after setting as a stereoscopic clip.
If both the L side (for left eye) and the R side (for right eye) clips are in the bin, set them as a single stereoscopic clip.

Cancel a stereoscopic clip to reset to 2 separate clips.
1) Select and right-click stereoscopic clip (or clips) in the bin, and click [Cancel Stereoscopic].
Clip markers are retained after canceling stereoscopic clips.
The In and Out points information will be deleted after canceling stereoscopic clips.
Set multiple stereoscopic clips in the same format as a single sequence clip, or cancel the sequence clips.
The operation procedure is the same as for settings as sequence/canceling sequence.

The operation procedure is the same as for the regular subclip creation.
Registering between In and Out Points to the Bin As a Separate Clip (Subclip)
Non-stereoscopic clips where video is divided by side-by-side or tom-and-bottom, etc. can be handled as stereoscopic clips.
1) Select and right-click a clip in the bin or source browser, and click [Properties].
The [Clip Properties] dialog box appears.
2) Click the [Stereoscopic] tab.
3) Check [Use as Stereoscopic clip], and select an item from the [Divide setting] list.
Check [Swap L/R] to switch the L side and the R side video.
The L side clip is displayed at the left of [Preview], and the R side clip is displayed at the right. Move the slider or enter the timecode in [Cur] to view video.
Click [Monitor preview] to view the stereoscopic video of the current position in the preview window.
4) Click [OK].
