1) Connect a device to your PC.
The connected device is displayed in [Folder] on the sidebar.
2) Click the device name on the sidebar.
The sources stored in the connected device are displayed in the thumbnail pane. The setting items for import are displayed in the upper part of the thumbnail pane.
Check [Registered] to display sources that is registered to [Library], as well as those not registered to [Library].
The location of the import destination folder and its free space are displayed.
Metadata for import such as [Maker], [Camera Model], [Creator], [Tag], and [Rating] can be set.
Sources that can be imported are displayed with check marks. The sources that have already been imported do not have the check marks.
3) Check the sources you wish to import, and click [Import].
Import of the sources is started.
Source files are copied to the import destination folder and registered as clips in [Library].
Click [Card Copy] to import all data in the device regardless of check status of the sources.
Click [Register to library] to register the source to [Library] as a clip. The source file will not be copied.
The imported clips are displayed with red square marks at the lower right of the thumbnails. (For [Thumbnail] view or [Timeline] view only)
GV Browser can be started also from the auto play dialog box displayed when a USB device is connected.
Click [Settings] on the menu bar, and click [Import] to configure detailed settings for import.
AVCHD sources that consist of multiple separate files are registered as single clips.
Click the icon on the right edge of the device name on the sidebar to remove the device.
1) Click on the folder where the source you want to import is stored from [Folder] on the sidebar.
The sources in the selected folder are displayed.
2) Check the sources you wish to import, and click [Import].
Source files are copied to the import destination folder and registered as clips in [Library].
Click [File] on the menu bar, and click [Register to library]. Select a source and click [Open] to register the clip to [Library].
Click [File] on the menu bar, and click [Register a folder to library]. Select a folder and click [Browse folder] to register all source files in the selected folder to [Library].
The files imported from a USB memory or camera on GV Browser can be searched by the imported date or imported history name.
1) Click [Edit] on the menu bar, and click [Search Import History].
The imported histories search bar is displayed.
2) Specify the search conditions.
The search result is displayed in a list.
If you click on the history you want to view, the list of the imported clips is displayed in the thumbnail pane. Regardless of whether the clips have been moved or deleted, all the clips at the time of import are displayed.
